NYC raptress Cardi B recently released her long awaited and highly anticipated debut album “Invasion of Privacy” which is already Gold certified record on arrival and made history by being the fastest selling debut album by a female rapper.
“Invasion of Privacy” is a strong album that we have been waiting to hear for quite sometime now from female rappers because the music scene of lately has been filled with people who prefer to use to gimmicks to draw attention to their music and not allowing their music speak for itself and alot of  people fail to understand that all the rap queens from back in the golden era of music delivered some groundbreaking music that paved way for artists like Cardi B, Rapsody, Angel Haze and many more  to come up and showcase their rawness, sassiness and originality.

From day one Cardi has been herself through and through which has made many people relate to her and support her movement as she`s all about women empowerment and expressing herself fully and give zero fucks. When she made history with “Bodak Yellow” alot of people were quick to count her out as a one hit wonder but she had them eat their words as she charted high with her collaboration with Migos “MotorSport”, second single “Bartier Cardi” and also managed to bag a smash hit with the remix of Bruno Mars “Finesse”.

When she dropped this album I was praying hard that would not sound like the mess all over the radio currently, heavy beats and weak lyrics but Cardi B delivered a solid album that has so many layers to it and I love the fact she wanted to give the new generation something that holds so much weight to it and also showcased her roots so beautifully. Opening it with a cold track called “Get Up 10” that sets you up for a good ride as it was so raw and showed that she ain`t playing at all, she means business. She built on the track and throughout the album kept providing some quality tunes that showcased her growth and her confidence, what a great way to kick off her musical career.

Standout tracks:Money Bag“, I Like It”, “Bickenhead”, “I Do”, “She Bad”, “Ring” and “Thru Your Phone”.
