August Alsina has been away from the music scene lately. While battling personal struggles and issues with his label Def Jam Records the singer kept a low profile until recently. August returns with a new song and accompanying music video called “Wouldn’t Leave.”

Directed by August and Christopher Scholar, August shows off his vulnerable side with tears in his eyes as he strolls around an abandoned community with empty houses and dirt roads. Check out the clip below.

August Alsina got real with his fans yesterday as he opened up about his battle with liver disease. “I’m sicker than ever & having a hard time accepting what I feel & what the Doctors are saying is most true,” said the singer during a sit down conversation with Jada Pinkett-Smith.
