Chloe x Halle keep up with the use of their tennis court as the duo performed Forgive me and Do It during the 202 BET Awards. Before getting into the song of the Summer, Chloe and Halle started their set off with Forgive me, the latest single from their sophomore album Ungodly Hour. The screen then switched to show the sisters wearing matching white outfits, before the performance wrapped, the two sets appeared side-by-side dancing together. Check out the performance below.

Best Female Hip-Hop artist winner Megan Thee Stallion did not come to play as she brought Mad Max vibes to the BET Awards. Megan’s performance kicked off with her Eazy-E-sampled single “Girls in the Hood,” before leading into her hit single Savage featuring Beyoncé.

Meg brought fashion, production, and dance moves to her performance before driving off through the desert in a Mad Max-esque vehicle. Check out the performance below.

This year’s BET Awards will celebrate the award ceremony’s 20th anniversary and BET’s 40th anniversary, while the network has to do things a little differently this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BET announced on May 20 that it would move forward with airing the BET Awards on June 28. “Using an array of innovative techniques and artist-generated content, the show will continue, allowing the audience to join in a celebration of black love, joy, pride, and power with an all-star lineup.”

With just a few weeks until the show airs, the 2020 nominees were officially announced. This year Drake,  Megan Thee Stallion, and Roddy Ricch lead this year’s nominees. Drake’s six nominations include best Male Hip-Hop Artist, Video of the Year, and two nods for both Best Collaboration and Viewer’s Choice, for his features with Chris Brown (“No Guidance”) and Future (“Life Is Good”).

Megan Thee Stallion’s five nods include Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Best Collaboration, Album of the Year, and Video of the Year. Ricch is also a contender in the Best Male Hip Hop Artist, Album of the Year, Video of the Year and Viewer’s Choice categories as well as Best New Artist.

the BET Awards will simulcast live (8 p.m. ET) across ViacomCBS networks, including BET and BET HER, and make its national broadcast premiere on CBS on June 28 (8 p.m.-11 p.m. ET/PT). Check out the full list of nominees below.

Last night BET aired the 2019 BET Awards. Hosted by Actress Regina Hall, the ceremony celebrated Mary J Blige as she received the Lifetime Achievement Award and Tyler Perry accepted the Icon Award.

Last night’s ceremony kicked off with an opening performance from Cardi B, who performed her new single Press and Clout with Offset. The night continued with some amazing performances Mary J. Blige, H.E.R, Lizzo, Fantasia, Lil Nas X and more hit the stage. Check out some of the performances below.

As the BET awards slowly makes its approach on June 23rd, the network just announced that Mary J. Blige will receive the Lifetime Achievement honor at this year’s BET awards. the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul will join the likes of Whitney Houston, Prince Anita Baker, Diana Ross, New Edition, Charlie Wilson, and James Brown, who have also received the award.

Set to be hosted by Regina Hall, the 19th annual BET Awards (which takes place at the Microsoft Theater) will feature performances from the likes of Cardi B, H.E.R, DJ Khaled, Lizzo, the City Girls, Migos, Lil Nas X & Billy Ray Cyrus, and Kiana Ledé and more.

Last night BET announced the official nominees for their 2019 BET awards. Set to air live from the Microsoft Theater at L.A Live on Sunday, June 23rd. Leading the pack this year is Cardi B who is nominated for 7 awards which include two for the top prize — video of the year — with her hits “Money” and “Please Me,” with Bruno Mars. Just an hour ago BET kicked off the 2018 BET awards. Kicked off with a performance of “WIN” by TDE’s Jay Rock. J.Cole followed up as he performed his track Friends. The set opened with Wale, who was seated on a chair watching television while a table with pill bottles was placed in front of him. Daniel Ceasar showed off his soulful voice before J.Cole hit the stage.
