Jazmine Sullivan brought her Haux Tales to the BET Awards last night, kicking things off with her new single “Tragic” Representative Maxine Waters walked out on stage and pronounced: “Reclaiming my time.”  Sullivan then switched gears as she was joined by Ari Lennox as the two performed the fan-favorite track “On It.”

 

 

Jazmine didn’t go home empty-handed last night as her EP took home the BET Award for Album of the Year. During her speech, She brought her mother up on stage, and in a tearful speech, talked about how her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago and is now in remission.

Back in January Jazmine Sullivan released her EP Heaux Tales, her first project in over six years. Today Jazmine returns once again with her brand new single “Tragic.” In the new single Jazmine sings about reclaiming her time after having a bad bedroom experience with a dude who’s performance is disappointing

“When your dick is tragic / Who was lying when they told you you was all that? / And we had it / Just another good laugh in our group chat,” sings Jazmine.

This Sunday, Sullivan will perform at the 2021 BET Awards. She is nominated for two awards, including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Album of the Year for Heaux Tales.

Last night Jazmine took the stage to perform the US National Anthem alongside Country music star Eric Church, later that day the Philly singer hit up Verizon’s Concert For Small Businesses. Sporting a retro green and white dress along with a pair of white sunglasses, Jazmine performed her new single ‘Pick Up Your Feelings, off her most recent EP, ‘Heaux Tales.’

Jazmine Sullivan is back! After a 6 year wait, the Philly singer/songwriter is finally back with her new project Heaux Tales. Jazmine kicked off her new era when she released the soulful track “Lost One” and then followed up with “Pick Up Your Feelings.”

This Friday Jazmine Sullivan will release her highly anticipated album Heaux Tales. Ahead of the it’s release, Jazmine has unleashed another track from her upcoming LP. Teaming up with H.E.R., Jazmine has dropped her new single “Girl Like Me.

After performing her current singles “Lost One” and “Pick Up Your Feelings,” at the 2020 Soul Train Music awards Jazmine took today to announce her new project titled Heaux Tales, due out on Jan. 8.

Last night the 2020 Soul Train Awards aired on BET. Hosted by Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold, this year’s show looked a little different due to covid, but the energy was still there. The night featured performances from Jazmine Sullivan, Brandy, and more. For the first time, Jazmine Sullivan performed her new singles ‘Lost Ones’ & ‘Pick Up Your Feelings,’ While Jazmine wasn’t live in the building she still gave a great pre-recorded music video performance. Jazmine Sullivan and Bryson Tiller star in their own episode of the hit HBO show ‘Insecure’ as they debut the video to their new video for the lead single off the Vol 2 insecure soundtrack. Set in the same apartment building that Issa Rae lived in, Jazmine throws a party with some friends while trying to have fun, Jazmine notices her phone blowing up as her man repeatedly text’s her phone with messages showing off his insecurity in the relationship.
