Now you all know when it comes to rappers and being featured on this site I can be very picky I like rappers who actually rap & actually have good music to offer rather than trying to being like these one hit wonder rappers who make a hot party song and fail to make another hot single. That is why today I am featuring singer/songwriter/producer J.O.N who just released this new song titled “After The Studio” Featuring new artist PuleThis song reminds me of what rap used to be before the some of garbage we hear on the radio now.  J.O.N. credits this song as an  anthem for all the songwriters, producers, & artist that spend late nights/early mornings, in the studio daily. Even when being tempted, check out the anthem which was written by J.O.N, Pule & N.A.R.S recording artist Caligula, & produced by J.O.N.

Love isn’t the only thing to sing about, and Jarell Perry proves this on his debut solo full-length, Simple Things, produced by Hassan—which is out today. The LA-based singer/songwriter, who has collaborated with everyone from Fat Joe and Usher to Diplo and Rusko, certainly knows how to belt out the stomach-punch emotional resonance of love gone wrong, but he also spins yarn around a modern existence that includes mundane day jobs and the highs (and lows) of a good glass of whiskey.

After the success of singles “Happy 4 U,” featuring Thurz, and the soaring emotional storm “Getaway” (which Perry performed live on Mark Cuban and Ryan Seacrest’s AXS Live! here), Simple Things is hotly anticipated. While grounded in alternative R&B, Simple Things tours through Perry’s many influences, including indie-acoustic, dubstep and chill-wave. Also on the record are two bonus tracks: “First Time,” Perry’s collaboration with Nacho Picasso, Locksmith and Torae, and his Semi Precious Weapons cover song, “Aviation High.” Click here to download

This is just the beginning of a big year for the multi-faceted, multi-talented artist. Jarell Perry has been working on music with Thurz, Cadence Weapon and hip-hop pioneer Cormega that will see the light of day in 2013. It’s enough to make someone fall in love—and then write a song about it.

While I do prefer the version which features Lady Gaga even though it wasn’t the finished version, Kendrick Lamar decided to make the song even better when he featured Jay-z on the official remix to his single “Don’t Kill My Vibe” produced by TDE’s own Sounwave. The song was first previewed at SXSW.

Like I have been seriously been anticipating the day Beyonce would finally drop some new music from her upcoming album which has been rumored to be released April 4th, well that time has finally come Beyonce has just released this new song titled “Bow Down/I Been On” produced by Hit-Boy. In the track “Bow Down”, King Bey lets everybody that’s trying to come for her crown that she isn’t giving it up soon before doing a homage to her Houston roots with the chopped and screwed sound on the second track, “I Been On”. Take a listen below.

Me personally I like the song, do I think it’s her best thing yet no but Beyonce is having fun I highly doubt this is her official single but just a buzz single to please her fans while we wait for the official single. Beyonce is having fun I mean why shouldnt she be allowed to do that she has been one of the top selling female artists for a while and if she wants to jump on a track and get a little cocky she has the right but people are quick to talk about her just because she’s doing something different and just owning that she is that bitch we shouldn’t hate her on that but accept that she’s tired of being nice and wanted to let these others know BITCH I’m Back!
