Today, Lucky Daye releases II, which is the second installment of his debut album Painted, set for release later this spring viaKeep Cool/RCA Records. He initially teased the arrival of II with the single “Karma” a few weeks ago. Straight out of the gate. II follows the release of Lucky’s I, which is comprised of the first five tracks from Painted and includes Lucky’s debut single “Roll Some Mo.”

Kicking off on February 12th in Vancouver, Lucky will hit the road with Ella Mai on her “The Debut Tour” this spring. Handpicked by Ella, he will perform alongside Kiana Ledé. See below for full tour routing.

Last night Kelly Rowland showed off her acting chops as she starred as Gladys Knight on BET’s new scripted series American Soul, and today Kelly announced her new partnership with Dove to help young girls build self-esteem with her new original song Crown.

“Growing up I felt many of the pressures young girls face today when it comes to embracing their hair, but my mom would always tell me that your hair is your crowning glory and you should wear it proudly,” says Kelly. “This song is very personal to me and, having met many of the real girls who inspired it, I am incredibly proud to be partnering with Dove to spark this conversation and encourage girls everywhere to love their hair.”

This week Sam Smith unleashed his new video for Dancing With a Stranger featuring Normani. The video first made it’s debut this past Sunday on via Apple Music. Directed by Vaughan Arnell, Normani shows off her best dance moves on the mid-tempo single, while Sam doesn’t show off his moves like his co-star, this Brittish singer gives his best face as the two navigate the aftermath of a breakup.

Back in 2018 we saw Monica join the cast of T.I. And Tiny’s Friends and Family Hustle, during the season finale Monica treated us all when she previews new music. This past weekend the R&B veteran took the time to unleash the full song titled “Commitment.”

“I just need someone to love me when it’s hard to / I can trust with all my issues,” she sings. “Someone who is patient and consistent / I need good sex and commitment.” Monica has been in the studio with Polow Da Don and PJ Morton working on Chapter 38, her first album since 2015’s Code Red, which will be released independently on her label MonDeenise Music.

Normani isn’t the only Fifth Harmony star releasing new music today. Her former bandmate Lauren Jauregui also took today to unleash her brand new single More Than That. On the smooth R&B track, Jauregui rebukes the advances of showy special someone while asserting her independence and worth.

“You gon’ have to come stronger than this liquor/Wanna take me home, better be more convincing/It’ll take more than that to get to me.” While Lauren has been pretty quiet about her debut album, the 22-year-old continues to give little hints of what we can expect. Check out the new song below.
