After scoring a GRAMMY nomination for his album Ology, singer, songwriter Gallant returns with his new song Gentleman. Representing a palpable and powerful evolution, the track conjures influences of the late nineties and early two-thousands R&B.

Along with debuting his new song, Gallant unveiled the stunning music video for Gentleman. Built around tight angles and extreme close-ups, the physicality of the clip evokes the single’s energy and showcases what he calls, “My take on a nineties bedroom jam.”

Bridget Kelly is back! The Love and Hip-hop Hollywood singer is ready to release her long-awaited debut LP, Reality Bites. To kick off the news of her new album BK unleashed the official single and video to her song Sedated.

“‘Sedated’ is a metaphor for how intoxicating love can be when you have ended up on the wrong side so many times,” she explains to Billboard. “Women are so strong, yet experience many unique pressures. ‘Sedated’ is a narrative that explores the want and desire for love juxtaposed with the fear of the challenges and hurt that can come with it. The real that comes with it.”

SZA goes back in time as she reflects on her childhood in her new video for Broken Clocks. In the clip co-directed by SZA and Dave Free, SZA and her friends attend Camp Ctrl and Camp Vanderwoffenberg. With cameos from her TDE family such as ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul, SZA takes us through a daily activities camp CTRL.

Couple of 14 years Ricky Bell (of Bell Biv Devoe and New Edition) and his wife Amy Correa-Bell joined forces in another way, as they collaborated on their first single Gold. The acoustic guitar-laced ballad, “Gold.” serves as the first single from ther upcoming EP. Produced by BOZGO, Ricky and Amy set out to write, record and release their duet, and created two versions of the song, the other a reggaeton-tinged pop rendition.

Actress Meagan Good, a long-time friend of the couple, took the knowledge she obtained working in front of the camera since the age of four and signed on to direct both “Gold” music videos. The first, set in the desert of California, is a modern-day take on “Bonnie & Clyde.” Friend to the site Eleven8 also caught up with Ricky Bell as he talked about the status of The New Edition family tour.

Janelle Monáe has released two new songs along with visuals for her new singles ‘Make Me Feel’ and ‘Django Jane’ from her forthcoming album Dirty Computer, due April 27.

‘Make Me Feel’ was directed by Alan Ferguson and is inspired by Prince, while ‘Djano Jane’ shows a different side to Janelle. The Andrew Donoho video features striking visuals, including one moment when Monáe’s face appears on a woman’s lap as she raps, “Let the vagina have a monologue.”

Janelle spoke on her upcoming album saying, “I actually had this title on this concept before my first album The ArchAndroid, and it scared me because a lot of the things that I knew that I needed to say were very deep, very personal, from the heart, you know, this is an extremely vulnerable album and it took me a while to make it because I’m a self editor.”
