It’s been 8 years since the release of Jon B’s Comfortable Swagg album. To surprise to his fans the multi-platinum recording artist has returned to the studio and is currently putting the finishing touches on next project. This last Summer Jon B released his Donell Jones assisted single Understand, from his forthcoming album, yesterday to celebrate his Birthday Jon B debuted the official video for the album’s follow-up single, “Priceless.”

“This video is all about showing a woman that she’s priceless,” says Jon. “You can have anything you want because the whole world is yours.” The visuals were shot in various locations across the Los Angeles area, including special scenes at Tomorrow’s Aeronautical Museum, a Black-owned museum and flight school based in Compton, CA that offers interactive exhibits, aviation, and educational programs targeting inner-city youth. Los Angeles native, Dale A. Stelly of Stelly Entertainment (Nipsey Hussle, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Forgiveness), serves as video director.

Yesterday morning Dawn Richard kicked off her new era of music with her new track Slim Thicx featuring Trackgirl. When speaking about the new song, DAWN says this “marks the start of a new era,” which will “highlight all the pop influences I’ve experienced with cultural flare.”

Megan Thee Stallion, shook the airwaves Monday night as the debut surprise guest for this week’s inaugural NPR Tiny Desk Festival. Performing a 7-song set and backed by a live band in the NPR D.C. headquarters, Megan unleashed her biggest hits from Fever and Tina Snow and debuted the new track “Fuckin Around.”

MTS also made a surprise cameo on Saturday Night Live last weekend, performing “Handsome” with Chance The Rapper. Today the Houston hottie keeps going as she debuts her new mini series Hottiween. The three-episdoe series, conceived by Megan, directed by Teyana Taylor and starring rapper Dave East and influencer Jay Cole, was inspired by campy horror classics and blaxploitation heroines.

K.Michelle is serving up wigs, looks and, eye candy, as she debuts the Derek Blanks and By Child-directed video Supahood, the lead single from her upcoming 5th studio album ALL MONSTERS ARE HUMAN, due out later this year.

While K hasn’t announced when the album will drop, she did announce to her rebels that she will be hitting the road this fall for her forthcoming tour O.S.D (Over Some D*ck). The multi-city run begins on November 11 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and will end on December 5 in Las Vegas.

Yesterday afternoon Alicia Keys made the announcement that she will blessing us with new music. Without anymore waiting the singer/songwriter unleashed her new single ‘Show Me Love’ featuring Miguel.

“Show me love like / You see red lights / You crashed in it like / A deer inside of headlights,” sings Alicia, while Miguel responds, “Yeah I show you love like / It was passionate / I just wanna bask in it / Winning like a championship.” While the song was released a new moments ago Alicia did not wait to give fans the visual to her new track.

A.Keys is currently in the studio creating the follow up to her 2016 LP Here. “It reflects where I am today—the deeper acceptance I have of who I am as a full human being, the flaws, the pieces that I used to push aside because I wasn’t ready to embrace the anger or the fear or the crazy,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

Timothy Bloom first broke out into the scene when he released his track Until the End of Time with V.Bozemen. Now the two-time Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter-producer is back with his visual for his inspirational song, “UNFORGETTABLE”.
Written and produced by Timothy Bloom. “Unforgettable was inspired by me never wanting to let go of the beauty that is around all us”, says Timothy. “Basking in the presence of life and immortality”, he adds. The single is available now via all streaming and downloading platforms and is lifted from his upcoming album, “IN FULL BLOOM”, to be released early 2020.

The Dove Shore directed music video was inspired by Timothy’s background and ancestry. “My parents are from Mississippi, so I wanted to take the time and honor them. The feeling was surreal, every moment had this massive energy as if they were still there. From the plantations to the city halls, where they would be hung”, mentions Bloom.

Timothy is currently adding final touches to his upcoming album, “IN FULL BLOOM”, while on a national promotional tour in support of the new single. Bloom just scored the upcoming film, “Dear Frank”, starring Brian J. White, Columbus Short, and Claudia Jordan, in theaters this November.

On the heels of a triumphant sold-out New York hometown show and the start of his “The Good & The Bad” Tour, Anthony Ramos announces the release of his  full-length debut, The Good & The Bad, on October 25, 2019.

In celebration of this news, he also shared the music video for the title track The Good & The Bad,” which premiered on  Vogue . Right before the beat drops, the visual opens up on the award-winning performer delivering a poignant and moving truth, “The best things in your life are on the other side of the hardest things. It’s the Good and the Bad.”

Following his first overseas gig in London on September 11, Ramos ramps up “The Good & The Bad” Tour in the U.S. with another sold out gig at Rough Trade in Brooklyn September 26 and a recently added stop at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. The jaunt rolls through major markets across North America until its conclusion at Imperial in Vancouver November 19.
