The wait is finally over, Teyana Taylor has finally released her long-awaited fourth album, which arrives on Juneteenth. Teyana’s new album has guest appearances from Ms. Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Quavo, Big Sean, Kehlani, Davido, Missy Elliott, Future, Rick Ross, and more.

She decided to release the album on Juneteenth, a holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. “I’ve always been about us being celebrated and celebrating my culture and my people. For everything to happen, from my album getting delayed and it falls perfectly on Juneteenth, yes, it’s a celebration,” she said.

But the fight for change is not over. “It’s still a lot of work to be done, but I just wanted it to be a thing where Juneteenth is amazing, but even after Juneteenth, we have to keep going. We have to keep celebrating one another and not letting that die down.”

Along with a new album out Teyana Taylor and her husband are expecting a new baby on the way and Teyana has recently announced her limited-edition collaboration with MAC cosmetics.

Last night Teyana Taylor announced that her long-awaited album The Album will arrive this Friday aka Juneteenth. Before its arrival, Teyana Taylor unleashed the official tracklist to her 3rd studio LP.

 

The Album will feature guest appearances from f Erykah Badu, Quavo, Big Sean, Kehlani, and Davido. Missy Elliott and Future, while Teyana’s own daughter Junie appears alongside Rick Ross on “Come Back to Me.”   Last week, Teyana revealed that she was pregnant with her second child while sharing the video for “Wake Up Love” featuring her husband Iman Shumpert. She also received her first nomination for Best Director at the 2020 BET Awards.

Along with her new album arriving, Teyana has also teamed up with M.A.C Cosmetics makeup brand to launch a ’90s-inspired capsule collection later this year.

While Teyana Taylor is creating her new album, the singer is cooking up another big creation. While debuting her new video for Wake Up Love, during the closing scene, Teyana lifts up her shirt to reveal her baby bump while in bed with her husband Iman and their 4-year-old daughter Junie.

“We’re ready, and we’re very excited,” Taylor told PEOPLE. “Iman is super excited. Junie is ecstatic — I’m talking super ecstatic. Everybody is just excited. I can’t wait. I’ve got three more months left until we meet our little princess.”

Teyana’s new project The Album, which follows 2018’s K.T.S.E., will be released in the week ahead. “We’re going to do an announcement on the album date on Monday,” said Teyana, adding, “I can tell you the album is coming out in a few days.”

While Teyana Taylor gets ready to release her new studio album titled “The Album,” the G.O.O.D. Music signee celebrates the commencement-deprived Class of 2020 in the inspirational video for her new track “Made It,” prominently featuring many of those remarkable graduates. Along with her new video Made It, Teyana also released the hard-boiled 1930s gangster-themed video for “Bare Wit Me,” which premiered across all platforms today, are cornerstones of THE ALBUM, Teyana’s forthcoming new project due this summer. A snippet from the red-hot “Bare Wit Me” dance sequence trended across Twitter earlier this week.

“Made It” is a very personal journey for Teyana, who never had a formal high school graduation herself. She was already signed to a recording contract during those years, finished up through homeschooling, and ultimately received her high school diploma inside of a Starbucks.

Teyana has finally broken her silence about her third studio album. Today Teyana revealed Grace Jones inspired cover art photographed by Daniel Sannwald, which will simply be called “The Album.”

Unlike her last album K.T.S.E., The Album features production outside of Kanye. So far Teyana teased what we can expect to hear on the LP with the spawned tracks “We Got Love” featuring Ms. Lauryn Hill, and Morning featuring Kehlani.

Teyana Taylor celebrates her family as she debuts the visual for her song “We Got Love.” Directed by Teyana, the video finds the R&B songstress celebrating the love for her family. Paying homage to her royal roots dressed in her African attire.

The clip features a powerful outro from Ms. Lauryn Hill, who delivers her message of happiness and purpose, and ends with a dedication to the Fugees legend: “Thank you Ms. Lauryn Hill.”

Teyana Taylor and Kehlani take things up a notch as the two get hot and steamy for the Teyana Taylor directed video for “Morning.”

The new song serves as the follow up to Teyana’s King Combs assisted single How You Want It. Both songs are set to appear on Teyana’s upcoming album due out later this year. Check out the steamy duet video below.

Teyana Taylor has unleashed her new single and self-directed video for “How You Want It?,” her new collaboration with Diddy’s son Christian “King” Combs. The nostalgic track samples Ma$e and Total’s ’90s hit “What You Want.”

In the new clip, Teyana and King Combs pay homage to classic 90’s videos such as LL Cool J’s “Doin It” then taking it back to the Shiny Suit era as they channel Diddy and Mase video “Mo Money Mo Problems.” Check out the new video below.

Teyana Taylor turned Ellen’s set into a scene straight out of “Soul Train” while she performed her single “Issues/Hold On.” Keeping the 70’s theme Teyna hit the set in shimmering gold bell-bottoms while her dancers finished the set with a Soul Train line, and Ellen even joined in.

After the performance, Ellen surprised Teyana by presenting her with a gold plaque for “Issues/Hold On” off last year’s acclaimed album K.T.S.E.

After a few weeks of waiting, Teyana Taylor has finally unleashed the official video for WTP. Inspired by the story of Cinderella, Teyana plays the Cinderella character from the House of Petunia, who does the chores around the house and styles the dancers, with dreams of one day going to the ball.

In the almost t9 minute video, Teyana gets her wish as she shows up to the ball wearing a red wig impressing everyone with her show-stopping moves and outfits. The video which Teyna also directed features cameos from “Love & Hip Hop’s” Milan Christopher, model Shaun Ross, and Lena Waithe. Check out the long-awaited video below.
