When Bryson Tiller released his second album True to Self, it’ didn’t get the best response that his first album received. Noticing the mixed reviews Bryson, took to Twitter to share that he was battling depression while creating his sophomore album.
“1. I was depressed before I made [True to Self] and you can hear it in the music 2. statistically, we didn’t do that great because of it,” he wrote. “3. depression ended in 2017 and i been workin hard ever since. stay tuned.”

While True To Self did reach #1, the album did not stay there for long as fans though Bryson had fell off. Byson replied saying “it happens,” he added. “i’ll figure it out tho.” Hopefully Bryson is in a better state of mind depression is not something easy to deal with. That being said we hope Bryson can get himself out of that dark place.
