2x Grammy nominated producer/singer-songwriter, Drew Scott has unleashed his infectious new single, “Take Me When You Go” via AWAL. Drew Scott has worked with the likes of Teyana Taylor, Zendaya, Fantasia, Dawn Richard, Nick Jonas, Jake Miller, Red Velvet and newcomers like Jena Rose and PXTN from The Voice.
“Take Me When You Go was written from a place of desperation,” says Drew Scott. “The relationship was over but I didn’t want it to be. I literally was packing myself up with her belongings and telling her I’m going with her. Wherever you’re going WE’RE going and we’re going to make this work.”
Drew Scott recently signed with AWAL (Lauv, Madison Beers) where he will be releasing his latest project, “May We Never Remember” this Summer. In between working on his own project, Drew Scott has been writing for Janet Jackson, Samantha Mumba (yes, she’s coming back!) Usher, Rome Flynn from ABC’s How To Get Away With Murder and splitting his time in South Korea working with K-Pop acts like Red Velvet and NCT-127.
