After celebrating the one-year anniversary of his debut LP Painted with another remix of “Roll Some Mo,” Grammy-nominated singer Lucky Daye surprised his fans when he revealed the release of his all-new track “Shoulda” featuring Babyface. The latest release details a relationship that has gone astray, with one partner wondering why the other has left them. “Said you wanted romance/Well I gave you a lot,” Daye sings over a stripped-back beat. “Said you wanted mountains, hills/I put you on top.”

While the song features Babyface, Lucky Daye track also borrows a familiar melody from Toni Braxton’s Should Brought You Home. Earlier this year, Daye released the song “Fade Away” as part of The Photograph soundtrack, as well as his first remix for “Roll Some Mo” with Ty Dolla $ign and Wale. Check out the new song below.
