Bruno Mars and David Guetta announce the release of “Versace on the Floor (Bruno Mars vs. David Guetta)” – the official remix to Mars’ latest critically acclaimed song, available now via all streaming services. With a rhythmic, riff-heavy bassline underpinning Mars’ soaring and seductive vocals, the track also features synthesized electronic breaks, creating an arrangement that seamlessly blends the musicianship of both artists.

Of his experience remixing Mars’ hit single, “I’m super proud that I had the opportunity to work with Bruno Mars on ‘Versace on the Floor.’ It is more than a remix; it is a collaboration and combination of different worlds together. My goal was to make it more dance and DJ friendly, but still respect the music that he came with, and keep the song and his voice in tact because it’s so beautiful. I hoped to create something that would not just be for one community, just like Bruno makes quality music that speaks to a wide audience. He’s really a next levelmusician and songwriter. I knew that already, but by working on his music I realized it even more so. ”

After making us dance with his top 5 hit “24K Magic,” Bruno Mars slows things down with his late 80s’/ early 90’s throwback R&B slow jam track Versace On The Floor. I love how Bruno just brought back that nostalgic feeling of what R&B was back in the day, while still making it current for radio today.

Check out the new track below which will be included on Bruno’s new album 24K Magic on Nov. 18.

When I first heard that Coldplay would be the main act for this year’s Superbowl halftime I wasn’t that excited about it, until I heard that they would be accompanied by Beyonce and Bruno Mars. Then my excitement shifted a little, and once Beyonce dropped her her single Formation I really got excited. Coldplay kicked off the show as they performed their singles C “Viva La Vida,” “Paradise,” and “Adventure of a Lifetime.”

Then Bruno Mars channeled his inner MC Hammer as he performed his smash “Uptown Funk,” before the camera switched to Beyonce who performed her new single Formation live for the first time in her Michael Jackson inspired military outfit.

The show concluded as Beyonce and Bruno Mars gave the crowed on hell of a dance-off, the two then joined back up with Martin to sing along to Coldplay’s “Up&Up.”
