One year after her releasing her LP, More Issues Than Vogue K.Michelle is back again with her album, Kimberly: The People I Used to Know. IN the 21 track LP, K.Michelle take us on a musical journey as she tackles various sounds of much such as Country, Jazz, Rap, and R&B.

“The album shows me and all my bipolar-ness so it really shows that and I hit on every single emotion of being a woman and being a grown woman,” she told Billboard. “So it has, even for a man, a lot of things you can relate to you, a lot of life issues this time not just heartbreak but life in general.”

K.Michelle delivers yet again, I really love the fact K didn’t just release a typical R&B album, When I first listened to Birthday, and Either Way, I thought K.Michelle a typical album just to make her label happy. Once again the Memphis singer proved me wrong. K really played with different sounds of music and made a masterpiece. Each album she has released K.Michelle continues to push the limits of her artistry and proves she is a force to reckoned with in this industry.

Some of the songs I really enjoyed listening to were “Giving Up On Love,” “Heaven,” “God, Love, Sex and Drugs,” “No Not You,” and “Run Don’t Walk.”

With just one week left until K.Michelle releases her new album Kimberly: The People I Used to Know, K sings about one of the most famous families in showbiz in her new track Kim K. Sampling DeBarge’s “A Dream,” famously used on 2Pac’s “I Ain’t Mad at Cha” classic, K.Michelle sings about the Kardashian-Jenner family’s appropriation of black culture.

“Wish I could be a Kardashian so I could be black,” she sings. “Put my face over ‘Pac, wear my braids to the back / Throw a filter on that, ’cause ain’t shit real / And ain’t shit funny, so fuck how you feel!”

K.Michelle’s new album is due out December 8th, with guest apperances from Jeremih, and Chris Brown.
