After going through a public divorce Mary J. blige is looking to leave that drama in the past. Today the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul returns with her new song “Only Love”.

Produced by Pop & Oak, the disco inspired song finds MJB singing a different tune when it comes to love.

“Took me a while, but I’m looking up ’cause I know you love me too,” she sings. “‘Cause you came right in and you brought me home / I ain’t never felt this feeling, oooh, I’m in.”

“Queen of Hip-Hop Soul” Mary J. Blige has just dropped her 13th studio album simply titled “Strength of a Woman” which follows up her highly underrated album “The London Sessions” which saw her delivering a solid vocal performance over British electronic beats and the writing was stunning. On this album she delivers her most rawest and most personal material to date, she is in so much pain yet she rebuilding herself into a even stronger version of herself, not letting her divorce from her husband (Martin ‘Kendu’ Isaacs) of nearly 13 years break her.

black R&BR&B music is slowly dying not only because of the declining albums sales but because of the music itself seems to be less inspiring, it`s soul seems less existent and the content seems commercial driven less about delivering a heartfelt message that offers honestly and healing.

Mary J. Blige is on a roll, just yesterday MJB reviled the official track listing to her upcoming album “Strength Of A Woman,” today the Queen of Hip Hop Soul is back once again this time Mary unleashes her highly anticipated single ‘Love Yourself’ featuring Kayne West. In the new song Mary sings about the important lesson on self-love, over soulful horns.

“You gotta love yourself if you really wanna be with someone else,” sings MJB. “You gotta feed yourself before you feed somebody else / You gotta stay open and don’t be foolish / ‘Cause everybody don’t mean you well.” Along with debuting her new song Mary is also on the promo run for her new project. Earlier today she spoke to Angie Martinez as she spoke about her divorce from her husband of 12 years, Kendu Isaacs. “I’m still in it,” she said. “It’s just getting worse. It really is not getting better. It’s just more bullshit, more nonsense, more lies, more denial, more stupidity.” Check out the new song below.
