Maxwell is no longer taking long breaks with releasing music, the soulful singer/songwriter released his new piano-driven ballad We Never Saw It Coming. Along with premiering his new song Maxwell also debuted a stirring short film titled The Glass House on Tidal.

“As artists and storytellers, we have a responsibility to raise our voices to alert and activate people out of complacency. The Glass House serves as a sobering wake-up call that hopefully, we all have the courage and determination to answer, …before it’s too late.  Maxwell recently announced a Black Summer’ Night of Social Justice concert event at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. The Concert will features performances from Maxwell , dvsn, Fantasia, and Jazmine Sullivan.

black R&BR&B music is slowly dying not only because of the declining albums sales but because of the music itself seems to be less inspiring, it`s soul seems less existent and the content seems commercial driven less about delivering a heartfelt message that offers honestly and healing.
