It’s been three years since NOA released her last album Saturn, now the singer/songwriter is ready to release the long-awaited follow-up ‘And Then Life Was Beautiful’ on September 24th. A few weeks after releasing the album title track, NOA is back again with her most stripped-down single titled “Wait.”

In the new song, NOA sings about the emotional hills of a relationship rather than running away from the overwhelming feelings. “Trying to run away is only human / But if we stay then we might make it home,” she sings during the chorus. Check out the new song and video below.

While singer/songwriter NAO continues to work on her new album, the London born singer returns with another new track, this time linking up with Nigerian artist Adekunle Gold for their collaborative song titled “Antidote.”

“Antidote” is the remedy to 2020; it’s a song born out of lockdown which was something that affected everybody’s lives all over the world. Both Adekunle and I had daughters born weeks apart during this time, they lifted our vibrations and we wanted to share that good energy with the rest of the world. Said NAO before releasing the song.

It’s been two years since we got any new music from UK songstress NAO. After giving birth to her daughter this year, the singer/songwriter has returned with her new single “Woman” featuring Lianne La Havas.

This is a song Lianne and I are so happy to put out. I believe this is the start of a new dawn where being a woman – esp a woman of colour – can & should be celebrated. This is our time! We all deserve to be celebrated. Said NAO before debuting the new track. “Woman” will be Nao’s first new song since her 2018 LP Saturn. Listen to the new track below.
