Last month Janet Jackson surprised us all when she announced that she will be planning to drop a new album and world tour, well today more news about the Icon’s return to music has been released. In a press release on her website, Janet has announced that her new album will be released on her own label which she has named “Rhythm Nation Records”in partnership with BMG, Janet plans to sign both new and established artists.  Janet Jackson plans to unleashed her as-yet-untitled album in the fall on 2015.

“Thank you to the talented team at BMG, my new artistic home. The opportunity to be creative in music and every form of entertainment has great potential here.”

Earlier this week, it was revealed that her new single will “hit radio and/or online within 30 days.” No news on that just yet but we will wait to see if that rumor is true.
