This is one honor that was way overdue! Janet Jackson will finally be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The music icon joins the list of 2019 inductees including Radiohead, Stevie Nicks, Def Leppard, The Cure, Roxy Music, and the Zombies. The official announcement was made today.
Janet tweeted about the exciting news this morning saying “Thank you Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,” said Jackson. “I am truly honored and I am happy to be in there with my brothers.” Janet was previously nominated for this award back in 2016 and 2017, but 2018 proved to be Janet’s year as she finally set for the coveted Hall.
